4 out of 5 starsI purchased a pine tree from Hobby Lobby for my “pine and palm” theme but needed a palm. The HL pine was thicker HDF pre-painted black $7.00. This item is thinner plywood, more costly to make. But when I was painting it, it stuck slightly to my newsprint (the dripped paint) and split across the trunk when I tried to lift it. I think if seller could use CNC to make it out of thicker HDF or MDF that would be preferable for painting , and would be a smoother substrate. I will now be looking for another palm from HDF hopefully can find one.
