Over 8 years ago, the name Thimblechaser began as my name in a steampunk community. I tried making a name that represented my interests and likes while sounding kinda cool.
I chose "Thimble" to represent all of the fun sewing projects I enjoy as well as the hands-on aspect of crafting. LOL ;)
"Chaser" was chosen to represent my three guiding words of devoted, undaunted, and courageous. Can't stop, won't stop!
And so Thimblechaser was born! Then I needed a mascot. I've always loved cats, and the idea of a cat chasing a thimble has always tickled me pink. Let's just say the cat motif has changed a lot over the years, and I am so pleased with the current version! The colors as represented in the logo and banner also reflect mine and my husband's favorite colors.
Like a cat, my attention can quickly be distracted. So I'm letting you know right up front, there is going to be a wide variety of items for sale as I explore the crafting world. Some items will be consistent, while others will be limited offers.
I invite you to join me as we embark together into crafts unknown, patterns uncharted, and on to other material adventures.
