COVID-19 SITUATION SHIPPING
Due to COVID-19 situation, all the deliveries are difficult because of customs and post office work (loads of deliveries, fewer working personnel, strict rules for safer work).
- Standard worldwide deliveries take 3-10 weeks.
- Standard European deliveries take 1-4 weeks.
- Express shipping ~1 week (you can add it at the check out).
- We are asking you to provide your phone no in the personalization field due to faster delivery. The phone no will be added next to the delivery address that the carrier or your country's post office could contact you.
We are working with partners and post offices due to faster shipping, but everywhere works people. They have families, their health, and they care about it. We, our partners put all the efforts to make shipping. Also, we ask your help to contact you post offices for checking your parcels. STANDARD SHIPPING
In cooperation with your Country's official post service by registered priority airmail:
- Europe 1-3 weeks.
- The United States 2-8 weeks.
- Other Countries (worldwide) 2-8 weeks.
Delivery terms are approximate and are based on our experience.
EXPRESS SHIPPING takes 2-7 business days (any country).
Please write your phone number at the checkout (in the field "note to seller"). Carrier will call to discuss details about the arrival of your order.
IMPORTANT
- FOR CHRISTMAS ORDERS fast worldwide delivery is possible ONLY with the EXPRESS shipping service option (~2-7 business days after the order is prepared).
- You can choose EXPRESS shipping, during checkout.

CUSTOMS AND IMPORT TAXES
- There are no additional taxes or duties to pay for buyers for the European Union.
- For buyers from NON-EU, some import fees and taxes may apply on item arrival. Since customs policies vary widely from country to country, please contact your local customs office for further information.
- The buyer assumes all responsibility for taxes and/or duty fees imposed by their individual country.
- Actually, none of our buyers have yet experienced any additional taxes to pay.
DELAYS
- Please note in addition to the possible production delays listed above, possible shipping delays may occur due to mail carrier service policies. These may include weekends, public holidays, mail carrier service closures, weather delays, and the like.
- If you haven't received your parcel on time, please contact us and we will try to solve this problem together.
RE-SHIPPING
- If the parcel was delivered unsuccessfully (wrong delivery address, the buyer wasn't at home or any other reasons), the buyer forgot or did not pick up the parcel from the post office, it will be returned to us automatically.
- We will be happy to ship the parcel once more, but you will be extra charged for the shipping costs.

- Each item lists an approximate production time on the product detail page. Please note these production times can vary for various reasons including material/fabric demand, production delays, machinery needs, and the like. So in kind, please be patient.
- Items on our store for shipping are ready in 1-3 business days.
- Some items are ready for shipping in 3-14 business days.
- For custom orders production time is ~1-3 weeks.
- For wholesale orders production time depends on quantity and needs - negotiable.
- If you can not find an item you want in a store but have your own vision of how this item should look, write to us and we will help your vision come true.
- If you need your item sooner, please inquire before placing your order.
- Colors you see on your monitor may differ from item colors. It depends on your and our monitors color profiles differences, so we cannot give you a guarantee that your monitor displays the colors exactly as they are.
- We are not working on weekends. We have a lovely family - it is our time!

Frequently asked questions
Care instructions
Wash in the washing machine at 30-40°C / 86-104°F on a soft and short washing program. Do not use bleach or detergents containing bleach. Tumble dry low. Hot ironing if necessary.
Please note! Linen made of natural fibers usually shrinks ~5% when washed for the first time.
Table linens are made of not pre-washed linen fabric. It is because of saving environment and the resources.
Please note!
Linen towels are pre-washed twice, but it could have left linen fibers anyway. So when you use a towel it could leave linen fabric fibers on your body. After a few washes and/ or after drying in a drying machine these fibers will be washed/ dried away.
This is very normal for natural linen fabrics.

Most all of Thing Stories made linen items can be made in your custom size.

Linen fabric and color
Linen fabric is made from natural linen plant. We could say that linen is a bit similar to wine which taste and quality depend on terroir. So linen flax depends on the same things: soil, climate, weather, manufacturing conditions.
The color of natural linen depends heavily on its growing conditions, meaning fabrics made from this year's crop might differ in color from the year before, even after dyeing.
If you need a matching set, we recommend ordering everything in one purchase.
Linen is a plant and the fabric is 100% natural. So the fabric has flax plant fibers, protruding or thickened threads. This is a part of imperfect linen fabrics.
