Our Why
Hello and welcome! My name is Ellen Taylor, and I’m the artist behind Threads & Colors. This brand was inspired by the story of Joseph in the Bible and his coat of many colors, a reminder that each person is uniquely created, seen, and set apart for a purpose.
I started this brand from a place of healing, faith, and creativity. After walking through difficult seasons in my life, I wanted to create artwork and clothing that would help others feel uplifted, encouraged, special, and bold.
Each piece is made with meaning. The colors represent beauty in imperfection, and the stars represent the way you were created to shine. My hope is that every design reminds you that your life has purpose, no matter how big or small that purpose may feel right now.
