It began with Sammie, my 2 year old moodle who is no bigger than a puppy but has the biggest heart and is just full of so much love.
She is my world and we wanted to make sure she wasn't just loved but well fed and nurtured as well to make sure she continues to have a long and happy life.
I started looking at the ingredients in the treats I was giving her which I thought were full of good things (and priced accordingly!) but started to see ingredients like dicalcium phosphate and poultry flavour. Not exactly what you think when you're giving your dog something that is advertised as "natural" or "healthy".
When I dug deeper we started to get concerned that I didn't actually know what it was I was feeding her when rewarding her for being a good girl. Was I just giving her junk food all the time? How do they make the bright red colouring of her favourite treat? What does it mean when the treat says "chicken byproduct"?
When I researched it more I realised that a lot of the natural ingredients she needs to be healthy are not in the treats you see on the shelves at pet stores so I started making our own. No more fast food for this pup.
I carefully researched what was good, what was bad, and in what quantities it was needed to make a difference. The end result is Three Paws. Hand made treats with organic ingredients that you know and can actually pronounce.
I wanted to share our treats with everyone, and make the promise that our treats will always be:
