4 out of 5 starsThe album itself had a light scratch; however, it did not affect the music. I did not like the way the seller packaged the album up for shipping. The outer shipping box was fine, but the way they took the album out of its inner sleeve and out of its outer sleeve and left the album on top of everything was unacceptable in my opinion. It only risks getting the album scratched more. They may have done this to hide the light scratch that had been on the album for a while. In the future, the seller needs to package the albums by leaving the album in its sleeves protecting the album. That’s the only reason this seller got four stars instead of five.

Yes, we do ship vinyl records in this way, outside of the jacket and the inner sleeve. This is the professional and recommended way to ship vinyl records as it protects both sleeves from being damaged if the record moves around at all during transit. We will continue to ship vinyl records in this way, although we do appreciate the customer's advice on how they feel we should ship them. As for the suggestion that we shipped the record in this way in order to hide a scratch, this is just silly. The album was graded as very good + according to the Goldmine Standards for grading records. This grading was clearly posted with the listing along with a description of the album for sale and with a detailed breakdown of the Goldmine Standard record grades. We stand by our rating of Very Good + for this album based on these standards.
