Whether it's cooking a Sunday dinner, sharing Christmas goodies, or creating handcrafted jewelry and accessories, I've always had a passion for serving others. I believe this passion was passed down by the women in my family. My grandmother, who immigrated from Ukraine, was a talented artist who found joy in gifting her paintings, handmade ornaments, crocheted blankets, and colorful Ukranian eggs (psanky). And my mother's gift to sew and quilt has graced us all with intricate quilts, jackets, pillows, and children's clothes. It's amazing to see the care that goes into each of their art forms and the effects they have on their loved ones. It's my aim for my customers to see that same level of passion in my work, and bring joy to my Tidal Rice customers.
My custom designs are inspired by Charleston and the wonderful state I call home: South Carolina. I look for unique ways to capture Charleston's Lowcountry living and southern style into each of my pieces. Each item is handpicked to ensure it's on trend, quality made, and incorporates Charleston's classic southern style.
