As I personally design, cut, sew, and package I strive for perfection. That has been my goal from the beginning.
When my first daughter was a baby, I was looking for a way to stay at home and keep my mind active learning new things! I made a lot of wood art and fabric banners while she was occupied, but I wanted a way to make some money with them, so my mother-in-law suggested I look into Etsy!
I started shopping on Etsy, seeing the time and energy put forth to make and sell something, I was struck by the uniqueness of it all. I really like the whole community of handmade, supporting each others small businesses, and the fact that people from all over the globe come to shop for high quality unique items all in one place!
I started up Tiddlywink Design in the fall of 2012, making a few stockings and burlap banners from table cloths and reused fabric. I soon found out that there was no way to keep up with all my sales on my stockings so the local fabric store has been a good friend!
I love creating something new, welcoming custom orders, playing around with different types of fabrics and so I am always enhancing my shop and adding new items! Each year I add more to my shop, and I focus on high quality beautiful materials that I know you will love as much as I do!
My Husband and whole family have been extremely encouraging and given me a lot of support when I get super busy. My kids help in their own little ways and I feel very blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people!
