I have a serious illness called Arnold Chiari Malformation. A serious neurological disorder where the bottom of the brain, the cerebellum, descends out of the skull and crowds the spinal cord, putting pressure on both the brain and spine causing many symptoms. Some of the most common symptoms include: severe headaches, vision impairment, hearing loss, ringing in the ears, extreme pain in neck and shoulders, extreme fatigue, and weakness in arms and legs. Chiari has a wide range of diverse symptoms and affects everyone differently. I have personally suffered from this illness for the past 15 years. It is a daily battle! Because of this illness I have been unable to work, but I decided I needed something to keep me busy and entertained.
I have always been a creative person. I love to scrapbook, color, and write. I decided to try my hand at cardmaking and fell in love with it. It is something I enjoy and something I can do even on days where I'm not feeling the greatest. After a while I decided to share my hobby with the world so I created an etsy shop.
