4 out of 5 starsI have just started your pattern and already I do not get what you mean. A chain stitch before a magic ring!!! Do you not mean 6 sc into a magic ring? Instantly I see something like this and I'm on alert for more misunderstanding. Please respond to tell me what you are meaning.

A "ch" (chain stitch) in a magic ring substitutes first sc - i.e. instead of 6 sc you crochet 1 ch and 5 sc. I'm sorry to hear you've faced problems like this from the very start.
