Painting during the pre apocalyptic period.
Welcome to my weird emporium. Thanks for finding me.
I’m Tyler Tilley — aka Tiger Picasso — a Canadian oil painter living in Thailand, where the heat warps your brain just enough to make things interesting.
My work lives in the space between satire and sincerity. I paint melting icons, cartoon nightmares, steampunk saints, and pop culture ghosts. It’s weird, vivid, and full of tension — the kind that asks: why do we worship the things we do?
For over 17 years, I’ve used oil paint (and a healthy disrespect for the expected) to twist familiar figures into something stranger and more honest. I’m not here to flatter. I’m here to crack things open — to mock mediocrity, mourn memory, and find beauty in cultural decay.
I’m drawn to the tension between what we celebrate and what we ignore — the sacred, the silly, and the sinister all mashed together. My portraits pull from that friction, blending humor with unease, pop culture with pathos, and the strange with the strangely familiar.
You’ll find prints, originals, and the occasional digital oddity in this shop. Every piece is part of a bigger world I’m building — a surreal collision of comedy, collapse, and visual rebellion.
to the moon :)
