All About Us...
TilleyTree is a small creative studio run by me, Sasha, from our new rural home in the Scottish countryside near Eskdalemuir.
Surrounded by woodland, fields, wildlife and the river running beside my studio, it feels like the perfect place for TilleyTree’s next chapter. It is peaceful, a little wild around the edges, and full of the natural inspiration that has always shaped my designs.
TilleyTree first began as a family dream, built from a shared love of creativity, thoughtful design and making beautiful things. I now run the studio and personally make, finish and package every order myself, carefully working through each piece one at a time.
My mum, Claire, is still part of the creative process behind the scenes. As a fellow graphic designer, she helps me part-time with new designs, digitally personalising some orders and preparing the specialist laser files ready for me to cut, assemble and finish in the studio. It means TilleyTree still has that special mother-and-daughter creativity at its heart, while every physical order is handmade and packed by me here in Scotland.
Our designs often begin as hand-drawn ideas before being developed digitally and brought to life using specialist laser-cutting equipment. From personalised baby keepsakes and nursery décor to wedding pieces, meaningful gifts and little touches for the home, everything is created to feel personal, beautifully made and worthy of being kept for years to come.
I have always believed that the smallest details make the biggest difference. Each piece is carefully cut, sanded, assembled and finished by hand, with close attention paid to the personalisation that makes it completely unique to you.
I use a range of materials throughout my collections, including FSC-certified sustainable wood, recycled acrylic and natural slate. I also use eco-conscious packaging wherever possible, often adding thoughtful little touches such as plantable seed paper to brighten someone’s day — and hopefully help the bees too.
Although TilleyTree is now primarily a one-woman studio, it remains a small family business at heart. Every order represents a celebration, memory, milestone or person who matters, and it is a real privilege to create something that becomes part of that story.
