Timberstone Collective began with a love passed down at a thousand yard sales
Timberstone Collective began with a love passed down at a thousand yard sales.
Every Saturday growing up, my mom and dad would map out a route — newspaper yard-sale ads spread across the table, a full loop planned before Google Maps ever existed — and off we'd go. My three older brothers, our whole family, our kids: we grew up thrifting and treasure-hunting together. (My brother and my husband still have a running competition over who can find the best deal.) The love of the hunt is, only half-jokingly, in our blood.
Timberstone Collective is my way of carrying that legacy forward with my husband and my children — not just the love of vintage and primitives, but the things that came with it: faith, generosity, kindness, and the belief that what's old or imperfect still has worth and beauty left to give. None of this would be possible without God, who gave me the courage to step out of the boat, and the support of my family.
The shop is two things that share one heart. First, curated vintage, primitive, unique and collectible finds — hand-picked, never mass-sourced, and researched before they're listed (age, maker, material, and history when it can be determined) so you know exactly what you're bringing home. Second, handmade pieces from my own studio — trays, bowls, and vases made from blends of cement, paper mâché, and clay, in the wabi-sabi tradition that
finds beauty in the imperfect and handmade. Down the road I'd love to feature work from other local artisans, too.
Whether a piece is a hundred years old or made last week, it's chosen or created with the same care, cleaned and photographed honestly, and packed to travel safely. If you have a question about an item's age, condition, or history before you buy, just ask — I love sharing what I know.
Timberstone Collective curates vintage, primitive, and collectible goods — and crafts handmade ones — with a focus on authenticity, provenance, and the stories objects carry. I hope your piece brings as much curiosity and joy to your home as it brought to mine.
Timberstone Collective is dedicated to the memory of my Mom, my Dad and to my family.
