Inspiration.

Naptime Seamstress!

My shop's inspiration, you could say, began the day my son was born. My husband had given me a sewing machine as a "Welcome to Motherhood" gift. It collected dust while I adjusted to sleep deprivation and exhaustion.
But, after the initial shock of motherhood wore off and my sweet baby started sleeping half-way through the night I mustered up the energy to begin my dream of working from home. I taught myself to sew. I learned quickly and spent every extra naptime second I could with my machine.
My interest in projects quickly gravitated directly toward baby essentials as I had baby on my mind. I started finding patterns for the most basic items any mother would need for welcoming a new baby into the world. And I created. And it was fulfilling.
So, now I am sharing my passion with you.
