At To Polish or Not we appreciate the power of light and dimension. Each of our pieces features a hand painted glass jewel encased in a mix of antique and modern style settings. Inspired by anything from sunsets and star gazing to unicorns and rainbows, we try to encapsulate a visual experience by using a wide range of only the most fascinating pigments, glitters and lacquers in our designs. We offer a collection of gifts including jewellery, bookmarks, magnets, purse hooks and wine glass charms. Finally, we believe each work of art needs to be picked up, held, and played with to best view its beauty.
I design and paint all the glass jewels myself for my jewellery and accessories. My shop also features some non-painted handmade jewellery, crafts and accessories as well, included beaded and leather work. These extras are my way of sharing other pieces I feel inspired to create and wear.
Q: Will the painted designs scratch or chip away?
A: No! All my painted designs are sealed and protected under a glass dome.
Although they are water resistant, I recommend avoiding submersing pieces in water for long periods of time (aka swimming or showering).
