Vintage everything is better than modern anything!
I love everything old. When I think of my favorite things I think of times like milling about in the historic Bermondsey flea market in London on an early misty morning just before the rain comes spilling vendors and shoppers under canopies, inside doorways, and into neighboring cafes. The streets are old in places like this as are the trinkets being sold and the stories the sellers tell about them. It is enough just to feel the history here but in order to capture the feeling and take it home I usually find a treasure that must go with me.
I also love everything cute. I never really grew out of adoring cute things and I tend to squeal in delight (much to my husband's chagrin) over any rounded, smiley, happy, adorable looking things. Vintage toys are a favorite collectible of mine since they are both old and cute.
Naturally, the items in my shop tend to come from such things. Many of the images are created from photos of my vintage treasures collected from hither and yon or from inspiring people, places or music. The things I collect are typically one of a kind or of limited availability but by printing their images I hope to share them with others who also appreciate all that is old and unique, all that is cute and elicits a smile.
