This shop was created and is run by a mom of 2 little girls and 1 little boy. A backstory to how my shop name was developed: As a little girl my nickname growing up was always “toad”. Flash forward 23 years and I now have babies of my own. Grammy started calling my littles “twiddlebug”. So it just seemed fitting that my shop be called “Toad & Twiddlebugs”. Once my girls are old enough they will be right alongside me to design and create all the things you see here.

All covers are washable, but should be laid flat to dry or line dried. Please be aware that the more the canopy is washed, the more wear it will get. Some fabrics, such as the rosette and the sequin do better if they are hand washed as they are more intricate fabrics and can wear faster than a standard cotton fabric. If you choose to wash your cover, wash it on cold and line dry/lay flat to dry. Make sure when washing that your velcro straps are closed so the velcro won’t snag anything.
Warranty: Toad and Twiddlebugs will not be held liable in any event that any of my product voids the warranty of your car seat. If you have any questions about product voiding your car seat warranty, please read the warranty paperwork or call the car seat manufacturer.
Please be smart about where you are with your baby while using any items from my shop. Keep your little one in a well ventilated area, and when it’s warm, make sure your snaps of your cover are open to allow for ventilation to the baby. I am not responsible for carelessness when using any product in my shop. As suggested by the car seat manufacturer, the baby should be removed from the seat when possible, and the handle should be pushed down while traveling in a vehicle or if left up the cover needs to be lifted over the car seat hood to allow for proper airflow.
I will not be held liable for anything that happens while using my products on your infants car seat. It is your responsibility to read up on safety concerns and properly install and use the product upon purchasing. If you need help with instructions on how to install pieces, please reach out to me in a message and I would be more than happy to help.
If we agree to cancel your order, you will receive a partial refund and a percentage will be kept as a restocking/inconvenience fee. I personally cut and sew each item in the order it is received so when you cancel and I’ve cut your order, it cuts into my inventory that could be used for someone else’s order. Please-if you want to cancel do it within the first 24 hours. I’m usually happy to accommodate your time frame if you let me know a specific date you need it in before the 2 week time frame listed in my shop.
Customs charges and additional import fees are the responsibility of the buyer on international packages and shipments. I will cover the cost in US dollars of your shipment and you will be responsible to pay any additional fees inquired at the time of delivery.
