Yearning for a creative outlet after the birth of her first child, Becky took up a hobby taught to her by her Mother and Grandmother. Continuing a craft that has been traditionally practiced by women for generations.
The name Toast & Yarn came from the reality of trying to preserve some creative time for myself whilst caring for my curious (sticky fingered) child.
After working in the fashion industry, it was important that Toast & Yarn be sustainable and independent from the fast fashion calendar.
Often drawing on traditional techniques for inspiration, each piece is designed to be an artful and easy addition to your wardrobe, handmade in luxurious, sustainable materials.
