Patches Made for Self Expression
Hello! I'm Giselle, the lady behind Topaz! I started embroidering in 2018 after quitting my job as an industrial sewing instructor. With an idea to make patches and zero knowledge of embroidery machines, I decided to take the biggest leap and purchase an industrial 15 needle embroidery machine and get learning. Then, the pandemic hit. I had nothing but time and a few years long machine payment plan to cover so I got pretty okay pretty quickly at all aspects of embroidery from design concepts to digitizing and machine maintenance, and now I do the entire process from start to finish by myself! I now have two industrial embroidery machines that help me crank out high quality custom name patches and trial cute new designs. I love it so much and it helps me express my creativity, passion for social action, and share it with people who want to decorate themselves with images that mean something to them. Along with my 4 chickens (Margo, Peanut, Zilla and Suzie) and my sweet Frankie dog, it keeps me busy and grounded and I'm grateful for every sale I receive!
