Avid Vintage Treasure Hunter
I love to hunt for vintage treasures! My grandfather was the ultimate treasure hunter back in 1950's. I seem to have inherited that from him. He would tour the countryside in his 1947 green Chevy pickup looking for items people no longer wanted. He would come home with the bed of his truck brimming with treasures! He would find items in dumps, along the side of the road, shops, sales and by knocking on people's doors. People would also just give him items they no longer wanted. Over the years, he had to keep building sheds to hold all the treasures he hauled home. I remember standing in those sheds as a little girl and just feeling so at home. Like there was nothing else I'd rather be doing. It was so fun rummaging through the piles of stuff and anticipating what I would find. I still feel that same thrill and excitement every time I run across an interesting shop, estate sale, garage sale, flea market or occasional dumpster.
Anyway, as I said before, I love to hunt for vintage treasures! I also love to sell things, so I decided to open my Etsy shop. I get so much joy out of finding items that people have been looking for. It really makes my day when someone sends me a message that they are so happy with their purchase. I have been having so much fun!
If you are looking for something special and do not see it in my shop, please send me a message. I have many items, expecially souvenir plates, that I have not listed yet. I am always on the lookout for more! Plus, vintage treasures just seem to find their way to me!
Thank you for sharing in my story!
