TriangleRanch

Triangle Ranch started as a loft in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We needed a business name for our buzzer that did not reveal that renegade artists were actually living there... and my boyfriend handed me a triangular piece of plywood. As far as I know, we were Brooklyn's only ranch. Now my old building is the Apple Store, but Triangle Ranch carried on, even as I moved to the other side of the continent. Now I am sorta in the middle, in a mid-century house that has little in common with the Ranch except that it is a work in progress.

But enough about that, you are here to shop, right? And I am stocking up on all kinds of new goodies inspired by my new house and its cool 50's neighborhood, a midwest version of California style on a budget, architect designed and then built in a semi-prefab style. Sunset Magazine sold the plans, so you might even have a version of this house in your neighborhood - or live in one!

If not, you can still enjoy the retro style of the holiday ornaments, cards, festive crackers (the traditional English paper kind) and other small paper-cut items. I have produced some physical versions that are for sale, but if you have a cutting machine or access to a maker space, you can buy the inexpensive SVG vector graphic file and produce them in your own custom colors. The download includes detailed instructions, recommendations on card stock, paper and glue.

The ornaments are quite sturdy and easy to store, and can easily be sent or enclosed with a 5x7" card
