Tiny and Magical
I have always loved miniatures - the tinier, the better! As a child I was obsessed with making the tiniest possible versions of all kinds of things out of polymer clay. I can't tell you how many of my jewelry boxes were filled with miniscule flowers, critters, microscopic tea sets, all kinds of tiny things. My mother's vacuum could probably tell some stories!
As an adult, I have dabbled in many (many, many...) different creative hobbies but I have maintained my love of all things tiny. I discovered a new (to me) kind of air dry clay a couple of years back that seemed like the perfect handcrafting-at-home combination of natural materials and not-needing-a-professional-kiln-to-cure and immediately had to see how tiny I could go with it - pretty tiny, it turns out! Of course the best way to show off your miniatures is in jewelry form, in my opinion. Combine that with a deep and abiding love of nature and fantasy and cosy stories, and the cottagecore theme was a perfect fit! Trinkets & Toadstools was born.
This is a one-woman enterprise - I designed my logo and all packaging materials, stamp and label every shipping box, and of course make every single item with love by hand. Join me and my tiny froggie friends in my quest for the cutest, tiniest, most magical accessories and meet me here online, at Comic Cons, and at Renaissance Faires in and around eastern North Carolina!
