Tricia Righetti. Artist. Jeweller. Philosopher.
Always artistic, Tricia discovered passion as a bead and wire-worker. She has taught jewellery lessons to eager students, enabling her to enter several competitions. Her work was chosen for the national finals in the Beading Extravganza Competition and, in 2014 she achieved first prizes for all three of her works in the Royal Adelaide Show, and additionally, a first for Best In Show for Beading.
Currently studying a Bachelor of Creative Visual Arts specialising in Jewellery at Adelaide College of the Arts (TAFE SA), Tricia has already exhibited many times throughout the state and is eager to expand her knowledge and experience.
Tricia loves to incorporate re-used materials and found items, including keepsakes and souvenirs to make memento-mori (an object kept as a reminder of the inevitability of death) or pieces that resonate with memories of the past and that which is gone from our lives.
In 2016 I entered The Royal Adelaide Show again, this time winning Best in Show for Jewellery with Star of The Scene (Featured in my Profile)

I am a "cusper" of Taurus and Gemini, so there’s this part of me that wildly creative and the part that’s pretty practical. When it comes to promoting my jewelry, the Taurus side takes over and wants everything to be near perfect before I put things up on the site so I’m starting very slowly and will build my way up. Keep on the lookout, as I will be adding new jewellery regularly.
