So much of Black history gets reduced to slavery and civil rights, but our culture is filled with thinkers, artists, writers, traditions, and symbols that stretch across generations and continents.

I started creating designs that highlight those stories.

Some pieces celebrate powerful voices like James Baldwin and Toni Morrison. Others explore African traditions and symbolism like mudcloth patterns and historic cultural art.

Many of these ideas actually began at home while trying to teach my kids about the deeper history of who we are.

That process eventually turned into something bigger.

Today Tru Nobility creates apparel, posters, and educational designs that celebrate Black history, African heritage, literature, music, and cultural pride.

Our goal is simple.

Create pieces that remind our people who we are.
