This puzzle is equal parts art and fun! I didn't find the solve particularly challenging, but it's quite a satisfying process. Really pleased with this addition to my collection.

Absolutely loved this Ternary Tile Challenge, deceptively looks like an easy solve but unlike single tile puzzles challenging complex because the patterns and orders of the tiles are not self evident. Tiles slide easily both vertically and horizontally. Looking forward to solving it again over and over. Also appreciated the spare “plug” provided with the puzzle for the empty spot once the puzzle is solved to keep the pattern in place. This puzzle totally met my expectations to the fullest and would highly recommend it either as a gift or for another to experience!

This is a fun puzzle. It is solidly built and of a big size. It looks impressive. It took me about 5 minutes to logic through the choices to figure out the designer's preferences to open the box. There was a nice little surprise in the drawer. It was easy to reset. I then changed the solution, with the given instructions, for different choices. It's first use will be in a treasure hunt for the kids for Easter. I also plan to use it for a "game" for a family member who is retiring soon. Another winning puzzle box from True North Puzzles.
