David went above and beyond, patiently answering many questions and even sourcing a product for me. The table I purchased was expertly packed and arrived in perfect condition – all the way to Canada. It was freshly refinished, oiled and was just as described. In addition, the delivery fee was surprisingly reasonable. This was my first Etsy purchase and I was worried about ordering online and the distance the table would have to travel. For others who have similar concerns: don’t worry. You are in capable hands. I am a professional opera singer at the theater of Kiel, Germany. In a former life - at 20 years - , I made an apprenticeship as a cabinet maker. This is were my love for historic modern furniture comes from.
Shop policies
The things I sell, are restored by me and my wife. We clean, polish, renew wooden surfaces, repair dammages if necessary. But we take care not to convert the piece into a new item but to sustain the historic value of it.
Vintage objects are not new, unused objects. Therefore, I bid my clients to read the arcticle description carefully.
I try to describe the objects as exact as possible - including possible dammages, and also documenting the restauration process. If there are any doubts if the object fits to your needs and wishes, I gladly provide extra information, including photo galleries with high resolution images.

For goods with a volume up to 120 * 60 * 60 cm and 31,5 kg (including packing material), I can offer the following conditions of shipping:
The goods are ready for shipping within three working days.
The goods are shipping with DHL international.
The DHL transportation insurance only covers dammages reported immediately after delivery and well documented. Therefore, it is important to inform immediately about any dammages. Please also make fotos of the dammages.
If a package is delivered obviously damaged, the customer is requested not to to accept it. In this case, I will refund the purchase price and directly take over the settlement of the insurance case.
