Twinkle Bug Moon
I think the desire to hand-make items is in my family genes. As a child, one of my favorite yearly Christmas gifts was a pair of knitted slippers from my great Grandma. Slippers are one of my favorite items to knit and give as a gift too.
My Grandma and Aunt would laugh the afternoon away while crocheting & tatting. I liked to see the colors and feel the texture of the yarn they were using while listening to them chat and giggle. They inspired me to use my hands to create handmade items.
Arts, crafts, patterns, colors and textures along with a desire to make things for family and friends has been my favorite past time for as long as I can remember. Knitting, crocheting, painting, cross stitching and sewing are my favorite hobbies.
FAMILY, HOME, LOVE and HOPE have always filled my heart. Becoming a Mimi to my first grandbaby has filled my heart to overflowing! Before we knew whether our much awaited grandbaby would be a boy or girl, I had lovingly nicknamed her "Twinkle Bug." Turns out my grandbaby is a beautiful granddaughter. Ashtyn, to the world, Twinkle Bug to me! Along with Ashtyn aka Twinkle Bug, came a new favorite---rocking and reading our favorite story, "Goodnight Moon, by Margaret Wise Brown."
