Hand-Blown Glass Art, Sculpture and Décor by Two Pints Glass. Ornaments, Straws and items for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah.
Kort Walsh is a local glass artisan from Philadelphia. His work has been recognized by many worldwide. He has showcased works in the Aldrich Contemporary Museum of Art, NY Times, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Spike TV, and has been a part of many creative communities building large industrial sculpture installations, touring at art festivals and events.
Two Pints Glass shop is a collection of finely crafted glassware for any occasion! He crafts beautiful and sturdy reusable glass straws which are great eco-friendly gifts in addition to seasonal wear, home decor, custom commissioned pieces, and a variety of items that are fit for all the holidays!
In the past, He's worked in a variety of glass shops including laboratories, colleges, private and public studios creating fine art, handmade and handblown special glassware. Locally in Philadelphia I've had the honor of teaching classes & conducting live demonstrations while working in large production work with other skilled artists.
He has earned his Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Crafts from the Philadelphia University of the Arts with a focus on jewelry in 2008 but has focused primarily on glassblowing as his prime passion since then.
While his passion for creativity is at the heart of everything he produces, some of Two Pints Glass reflects the concept that not all glass art necessarily revolves around conventional standards of beauty. This is why he aims to create functional yet elegant pieces of art that aim to make a difference in the environment with his reusable glass straws. Kort truly believes in the products he produces and puts a lot of time into making sure they are both aesthetically pleasing as well as sturdy.
