My sister and I started selling at shows when we were teenagers (thousands of years ago). We sat out in the rain many times hopelessly trying to sell our work. I have been an artist my whole life, I have a degree in art and taught art for a while, but mostly I just DO art. My home is a science project. Our art shows eventually morphed into a studio/boutique in Carmel. We have had Two Sisters Designs for twenty years now, but it seems like five minutes.
While I'll try anything, jewelry making is my main activity. I wanted very unique beads and found that making them myself was the best way to achieve that. I have been lampworking for about fifteen years, and just love it. To me it is a form of meditation and I have to take care not to zone out and burn myself!
