Hi - I'm Sarah, and I'm the founder, designer, maker and soul behind Two Sparrows Boutique.
Two Sparrows has very humble beginnings. If you look on page 1 of my sold items you will find the ever noble, yet unpretentious, reusable sandwich bags. Slowly, I discovered that my love of sewing was far eclipsed by my love for crochet and knitting.
I started adding women's scarves and the like and sales really started taking off. I relished in the fact that people loved what I created! I still do.
Knitting and crocheting brings me quiet, pensive calm and it is something I love to fill my days with. I couldn't be prouder or happier that I get to do what I love and call it "work"!
The wheels have been turning ever since, and I am finding more success that I could have imagined when I listed my first few items back in 2012.
Since the opening of Two Sparrows in 2012 I have been featured in numerous blogs, sold my wares in a local boutique, been featured in Etsy's Editors Picks as well at Etsy Finds. I have even made sales to an Etsy Director and Google!
I don't know where things will go from here - but the sky is the limit! One of the most important things for me is to stay handmade. Two Sparrows will never hire outside manufacturing.
