Hello! Welcome to Type 22. This is a business my husband and I started after stumbling upon a box full of vintage letterpress letters. I'm a graphic designer & my husband is a furniture designer. We love vintage items and bringing them back to life.

I often wonder as I am digging through these letterpress blocks what story that letter may have told. What headline did it help create. What historic story did it help report. We hope we can help you tell your story with some of these letters. It may just be a word or phrase but we know it tells something about you, who you are and your modern-day story.

If you have a name or phrase you would like us to try to assemble for you just convo us and we'll see what we have in stock. We love seeing words come to life!

Gave this as a gift for someone in the printing industry. They couldn't stop talking about how unique it was. One thing, I wished though was that I read the description more carefully. The name was tiny. Maybe 4 inches at most.
