Waterslide decals by the Virtual Typewriter Museum are used by typewriter collectors around the world to restore their collections. They are available for many common and extremely rare models, from the Royal 10 and Underwood 5 to the splendid Sholes & Glidden.
Turn that old typewriter in the attic into a conversation piece, or do a real restoration. These decals also look great on any other flat surface, like glass and plastic.
If your model is not listed, please ask. I have more than 130 different brands and models available.
All decals come with full instructions for use and some spare material to try out with. Do use those spares before you apply the real thing!
All prices listed here are for single decals and sets. If you need more than one decal, write first.
Please note that the shipping charge of 6 euros per order is based on regular, standard mail. Registered mail is at least 5 euros extra depending on destination.

All decals listed here and on the Typewriter Restoration Site, a sister of the Virtual Typewriter Museum, are custom made and printed to order on an Alps printer, in metallic gold and silver and full color.

Payment

To pay just follow the directions on the Etsy site. You can use a credit card or Paypal. If you make a mistake, write to me immediately to cancel the transaction or change the item you wish to buy. I usually ship within 24 hours and once your item is in the mail the sale is final.

Shipping

I ship all decals in a strong cardboard envelope, wrapped in shrink foil, which I found is the best way to protect them agains damage in transit. All decals are shipped by regular priority mail, unless another kind of service is required (and paid for). The shipping charge with the sale on Etsy is based on standard international mail.
