  • An Olivetti Graphika I restored was the only manual machine to ever feature proportional spacing. The font is gorgeous!
  • A Typewriter is a gift that lasts a lifetime. So is the art of letter-writing!
  • Platen removal is often a difficult task, but most of the time I end up doing it to ensure a perfectly clean machine.
  • For pre-war typewriters, I often strip everything down to start fresh on a restoration. They can be made good as new.
  • Typewriters are intuitive, fascinating machines. (A friend's kid works on a custom pink Olympia I painted and serviced.)

I find typewriters and clean and restore them, and occasionally paint them in relaxed, fun colors. They're beautiful pieces for your home, ready for you to use when you want to get away from screens and put something down on paper.
