Samuel went truly above and beyond with this one. The typewriter arrived with an escapement issue (not his fault, it happened in transit). Not only did he help me find a repair guy in my area, but he also paid for the fix! His communication was impeccable and the typewriter is just a thing of beauty. You can tell he really takes pride in his work. I can not sing this dudes praises enough. I will definitely be buying from him again and you should too!

Basically the best that money can buy. When Sam does something, it’s done right. My fiancée’s typewriter is a dream come true. Money well spent. Everything works as first designed way back in the fifties! The machine is nearly seventy years old and it looks, feels and types like it came off the manufacturing line this year. It’s incredible. It sparks joy in our home every time anyone walks by. Do not hesitate to make a purchase from this shop. It’s money well spent.

It was exactly as the description stated!! Everything worked like it was brand new! What else do you give a graduate of creative studies and heading towards a master's in library science? She was so thrilled that it was manual and able to go to the woods with her to write. When she tested the keys (on paper, of course) she said it was so much better than the fake ones for computers... and the "DING" at the end of the line tickled her giddy with excitement!! Oh, and thank you for the AMAZING packing job. I wasn't able to wrap it before giving it to her, so it was fun watching her trying to get into it!
