From Hobby to Job to Passion
I have been a typesetter for almost 15 years. I loved what I did, but found myself wanting to do small projects for individuals instead of forms and newsletters for businesses. I started doing small personal typesetting projects in my spare time, in addition to doing it during the day for a living. In November of 2013, I lost the job I'd had for seven years. I continued doing small projects for people I knew. I started working again and then lost that job as well (the art of printed media is dying). I realized I could still do typography and have it be relevant in this digital age if I made and sold digital files. This would free people up to have their items printed if they wanted, or they could use the digital images for websites, e-vites, blogs, etc. So this shop was born of my desire to continue doing what I love to do, and taking on the types of projects that I love.
I can do custom typography for your home, business, website, blog, wedding, parties, birthdays, birth announcements, and any other need you could possibly have. I do my utmost to make everyone's project exactly suited to the type of event they want to have, from formal wedding invitations to casual birthday party invitations.
