I am Lyndsey, the artist and designer behind Unbound. Joined by my husband Mike, together we share in this labor of love. Although we are kept busy by our four children who are actively involved in sports, music and the arts and both maintain full time jobs, we make the time to fulfill our creative passions! We are grateful and humbled by all of your support in allowing us to live our dream!!
My personal artistic journey began through music, painting, and photorealistic pencil portraits as a child. As I was constantly searching for new ways to express myself and fulfill my deep rooted passion for creation, I began to explore the art of jewelry making in 2012. Over the past several years I developed the ever evolving brand-Unbound! I create an eclectic array of designs possessing an earthy, rustic elegance that reflects the inspiration I've collected from nature by using mixed metals and both raw and polished gemstones. How we choose to express ourselves tells a story of who we are and allowing beautiful souls to express their individuality through my art is deeply fulfilling and rewarding!
Daughter of mother nature, well not really... but growing up in a mountainside tree house and spending much of my early childhood exploring my mothers greenhouse, I found myself often wondering if she did indeed have chlorophyll flowing through her veins! I inherited her love and respect for nature and have always been deeply connected to the earth and its beautiful offerings. As years progressed I began to explore and study the healing nature of plants. With Mikes background in psychology and chakra studies, he proposed the idea of creating a soul soothing body care line designed with therapeutic benefits for both the mind and the body. Our handcrafted products are derived from natural oils and butters and are infused with essential oils providing fragrant, nutrient rich skin food! We avoid the use of harsh and harmful chemicals to bring pure and ethical botanical goodness to your skin! We source the highest quality of essential oils for our therapeutic blends designed with unique and specific healing properties.
