Under The Table is a family-run European art shop created for people who want to bring the artworks they love into their homes and everyday lives.
Our Etsy shop, UnderTheTableStore, has grown over the years from a focus on wall art into a much broader collection of art-inspired products for the home, wardrobe, workspace and gifting.
OUR LOVE OF ART
Our collections are inspired by some of the most recognizable artworks and artists in history, from Renaissance masters to Impressionism, Art Nouveau, Japanese ukiyo-e, Expressionism and modern art.
We focus on artworks that can be legally reproduced, including many works that are in the public domain.
Our goal is simple: to give people more ways to enjoy their favorite art beyond the museum.

Every product format presents an artwork differently. A painting that works vertically on a wall may need a completely different crop and composition when adapted to a wallet, garment, textile or accessory.
That is why we pay close attention to artwork selection, crop, positioning, proportions and the overall appearance of each design on the finished product.
HOW OUR PRODUCTS ARE MADE
Under The Table develops and prepares the artwork-based designs offered in our shop.
For selected product categories, we work with specialized production and fulfillment partners who provide the printing, manufacturing, packing and shipping capabilities needed to turn those designs into finished products.
Our production partners are disclosed on the relevant Etsy listings in accordance with Etsy's requirements.
Many of our products are made to order. This allows us to offer a wide range of designs and product types without producing large quantities in advance.
Product photographs and individual listing descriptions are the best reference for the exact artwork placement, materials, dimensions, construction and other product-specific details.

We personally work on the development of our collections, artwork selection and research, design preparation, product presentation and customer communication.
