What if my item is damaged in shipping?
Buyers are responsible for keeping all packaging and content of any item damaged in shipping. We insure each package but it is your responsibility to provide Unique North with a photo of both packaging and damaged item in order for us to collect from the insurer and reimburse or replace the item for you. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
What are the conditions of returning an item?
Return Policy:
Contact us within: 7 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 14 days of delivery
Sale items are NOT eligible for return. If it is a regular price item, buyer is responsible for a 25% restocking fee, as well as return shipping costs. If item is not returned in its original condition, buyer is responsible for any loss in value. We reserve the right to refuse a return, and these policies may change at any time.
How do I contact Northern Lights Gallery if I have a question?
In order to serve you better, all correspondence must be conducted through Etsy messages or email at customerservice@thenorthernlightsgallery.com.
What if I need to cancel an order?
We cannot cancel orders that have already been shipped. Any order cancellation is subject to a 10% restock fee.
How do I clean my jewelry?
When in doubt, do NOT dip your jewelry. The safest bet is always simply a clean cloth. If you have specific questions about a particular piece, reach out to us through Etsy messages or customerservice@thenorthernlightsgallery.com and we will do our best to assist you.
I purchased something at regular price, and now the item is on sale. Can I get the discount?
Sale prices are valid for duration of sale only. We do not offer price adjustments on any products after a sale has ended, or retroactively on a purchase made before a sale began. The buyer assumes responsibility for their decision to purchase, with no expectation that a discount will be offered at a later date.
How often do you run sales? Can you notify me ahead of time when something will be put on sale?
We run sales periodically, both on specific product categories and shopwide. We do not reach out individually about sales, please check back often to see if there is an active sale. In addition, Etsy occasionally sends out automated coupons if you place something in your cart, or add it to your favorites. We suggest taking both of these actions to increase the chance of receiving one of these special coupons. We do not have control over these coupons in any way.
I accidentally provided an incorrect shipping address, what should I do?
The buyer assumes all responsibility for providing a correct shipping address. If your item has not yet shipped, please send us a message letting us know your correct address and we will update it, provided it has not yet begun being processed. If your item has already shipped, it will move through the postal system and ultimately be returned to us as an insufficient address. We will require payment for a new shipping label and your correct address in order to send the item out again. Cost of original shipping label will be deducted from any refund issued to buyer, if buyer chooses to have order cancelled and not shipped again.
