When I moved to Oregon I had no idea how to meet fellow soccer players for pick-up games. One day while getting into my car I noticed the car in front of me had a local soccer sticker on it, as I was about to pull out the car's doors opened. I waited to see who was getting out of the car, a gentleman and his small army of kids piled out of the car. This was my chance, crossing my fingers I said, 'Excuse me sir! Do you play soccer?" He replied, "Yes. Yes I do. It's only pickup at the local Christian center but we play every Tuesday for a few hours." My emotions began doing cartwheels, I finally found some people to play soccer with! We exchanged numbers and that was the beginning of me meeting a great group of good people to play pick-up soccer with.
This specific occurrence is what spawned United Sticker Co If I could meet someone from seeing a sticker, so could other people looking for others in their niche. Now how can I create something to help other people meet people with similar interests? I felt stickers were a self-expressive way for other to meet others with similar interests. An easy ice breaker, a badge of honor.
