I have long been an admirer of all things old!
My grandmother had a room in her home that was full of old things that my grandfather had collected at auction sales well before I was born. As a small child I would beg her to let me in to look at all the things that she had stored there. There was a unique, familiar smell in that storage room. I loved to look, touch and ask about all of the things she had in there. Finding my passion for these old things to be quite amusing she often took the time to feed my curiosity!
Along with my curiosity for all things old I have also been a life long artist. Interested in all mediums from paint, fabric, glass, jewelry, pottery....just to name a few! Creating things for house and home.
Our home has always been a warm, inviting, homey place filled with an eclectic mix of old and new. This passion for art, home decor and decorating has led to collecting way too many treasures for one home to hold!
Our shop 'Untried' is a collection of vintage, rustic, handcrafted and artistic treasures. A family endeavor involving Mother and daughters in a fun, enjoyable journey. My love of art and vintage is now a family affair!
