The Story Behind My Creations 🌻
Ever since I was a little girl, I've loved creating. I was especially fascinated by realistic art because I discovered that the more realistic something looks, the more emotionally connected we feel to it.
That fascination never left me.
Over the years, I taught myself Photoshop while creating custom pet pillows, spending countless hours learning how to recreate every tiny detail - from the sparkle in an eye to the texture of fur and feathers. As my skills grew, I also learned how artwork changes when it's printed, sewn and stuffed, allowing me to create designs that remain surprisingly lifelike.
Today, I bring those same techniques to every pillow I create. Whether inspired by lifelike wildlife, beloved pets or everyday favourites like seashells, orchids and butter, each design begins with careful research and many hours of digital artwork. Every detail is thoughtfully refined - not simply to make it look realistic, but to help people feel emotionally connected to the things they love.
The most rewarding part of what I do isn't creating the artwork. It's hearing the stories behind each order. Customers have shared heartfelt stories behind their orders - from meeting their partner among Canada geese, to grandchildren who never miss visiting the local mallard ducks, to pigeon lovers who see a familiar feathered friend in my creations. Others have told me how the geese they saw on their daily walks became a lasting reminder of someone they loved. Those stories remind me that these pillows aren't just home décor, they become part of people's memories.
Creating has always made me happy. And the most wonderful feeling is when someone appreciates my creativity, because then I know I've created something meaningful.
