5 out of 5 starsI love this huipil! The small design is exactly what I chose. Threads used in hand stitched side seams definitely indicate vintage construction. The deep purple has been well cared for. Personal note about the trim at front hemline: my mother made this exact same trim on a baby dress for me 88 years ago. I learned it from her and used the same trim on a baby dress for my tiniest baby 61 years ago. She was born 3 weeks early and barely stretched out 14" from the crown of her head to her tiny big toe. She fit perfectly between my elbow and my fingertips. Now I will joyfully wear a larger version of that pulled thread trim made by sweet Guatemalan hands. It is a precious part of this huipil !

5 out of 5 starsThank you for making this just big enough to fit me perfectly! I have already worn this and received compliments on its beauty. Apparently my head is bigger than that of the original wearer. I carefully cut out the little flowers in each corner of the neckline. Then it fit fine over my head.

5 out of 5 starsThank you for the bonus beaded earrings. Also thank you for the small leather and fabric change purse you sent before. This fire-colored huipil is heavy; it will be warm as toast in the winter. We just celebrated the Day of Pentecost at church a few weeks ago. That is one of my favorite Bible miracles! All of the colors in this huipil are just perfect to remind me of Pentecostal fire. Delightful!

5 out of 5 stars¡Qué preciosa! This is older and softer than my other huipiles and I love working with older threads. The natural dye colors are still so vivid. At the moment I am carefully opening the arm holes wider so I can try this on. There are a few worn spots that show this huipil has been loved and worn - and I intend to continue that tradition. I have some special tools to repair the worn places and can restore the neck and sleeve edges with used velvet. Es mi placer.
