UsefulNook is a small independent shop in Japan, built by a creator who approaches every project like a student: curious, practical, and willing to learn from mistakes.

I work with a generative AI advisor to turn everyday problems into useful spreadsheets and digital tools. The AI helps with ideas, research, testing, and revisions—but it does not make the final decisions. Early in this journey, I followed its advice a little too literally and discovered costs I had not planned for. That experience became one of the rules behind this shop: verify assumptions, check costs, test carefully, and be honest about limitations.

The products here may not be perfect on day one. Each one is built through small experiments, real use, feedback, and steady improvement. My goal is to share tools that are practical now, while continuing to make them clearer, safer, and more useful over time.
