Hello, my name is Water Hyacinth. Today, I want to tell you my story.
I was born in the North of Vietnam, a countryside filled with nature. However before I was born, my ancestors had been considered useless, even harmful to animals and fishes. Therefore, humans used herbicides to kill my ancestors - water hyacinth. Twenty years ago, a miracle appeared, a group of heroes - Vietnamese farmers, turned water hyacinth into baskets, bags, trays, mats, and even table chairs and so on which served human's purposes. This transformation not only gave us another life but also create jobs for hundreds of farmers around so they could support their families.
They kept modifying us slowly and gradually to make us better.
SURPRISE! Here I am now.
I was born with a mission to deliver Vietnamese hearts and souls to international friends. I am so proud and I will definitely serve your purpose well.
