Interior Decor, not a Hobby, a Life's Passion
We're not given a huge amount of time on this earth to follow our dreams. For me, falling into the world of decorative art and design seemed like a perfectly natural thing to do. My path was full of surprises. At an early age before my teens my mother taught me to sew, which opened my mind to a skill I could use to create. Shopping with my mom in the fabric stores, feeling all the beautiful textiles and imagining the clothing or pillow I could create is a very early memory of how that passion has brought me here today. I went on to study fine art then graphic design, but it wasn't until I began to seriously study interior design that I realized I found my niche. It is here where all the visual and decorative arts that I am passionate about get to be a part of my creativity. As an interior designer I work with textiles, color, shape, form, composition and balance, objects of art, and yes, my very own pieces of hand made art. You will find in my Etsy store curated antique, vintage and handmade items that layer beautifully in all home decor, as well as a large selection of artisan supplies for the creative.
