Mijn werk wordt gekenmerkt door de wisselwerking tussen de robuustheid van zilver en de precisie van gekleurd draad. Ik geloof dat sieraden een subtiele verlenging van je persoonlijke stijl moeten zijn, geen schreeuwerig accessoire. Ik hou van wat ik doe – het is een voortdurende zoektocht naar balans, waarbij ik ruwe materialen transformeer tot iets betekenisvols en blijvends.
Een creatief thuis
Mijn werkplek bevindt zich in een prachtig keramiekatelier hier in Lissabon. Werken in deze omgeving, omringd door klei, ovens en eindeloze schappen vol levendige, handbeschilderde vazen, heeft mijn creatieve proces diepgaand beïnvloed. Het contrast tussen de neutrale, gestructureerde aard van zilver en de explosie van kleur in de keramiek om me heen is waar mijn inspiratie begint. Het is een ruimte vol leven, texturen en het rustige ritme van handgemaakte objecten.
Mijn reis en inspiratie
Ik ben van Italiaanse afkomst, maar Lissabon is al meer dan tien jaar mijn thuis. Ik ben dol op deze stad: de onophoudelijke zon, de constante, ritmische wind en het ongelooflijke kleurenpalet van de azulejos waarmee de huizen zijn versierd.
Mijn wortels liggen echter nog steeds stevig in Italië. Ik reis er zo vaak mogelijk naartoe en onderhoud een hechte, constante band met Turijn en Sardinië. Veel mensen hebben een subtiele echo van traditionele Sardijnse sieraden in mijn ontwerpen opgemerkt, en misschien komt mijn onbewuste inspiratie daar wel vandaan. Het is een prachtige dialoog: de gestructureerde elegantie die ik uit Turijn meedraag, de eeuwenoude vormen van Sardinië en de levendige, vrolijke kleuren van de tegels van Lissabon – alles komt hier samen, aan mijn werkbank.
Mijn aanpak
Ik gebruik draad als een essentieel onderdeel van mijn ontwerpen – of het nu gaat om delicate knopen of doelbewust wikkelen – en geef zo een persoonlijke touch aan de zilveren basis zonder ooit "druk" aan te voelen. Elk stuk wordt met de hand gemaakt, waarbij het gebaar en het nauwgezette vakmanschap achter elke creatie worden geëerd. Ik verwerp massaproductie en focus in plaats daarvan op auteurschap en stukken die ontworpen zijn om lang mee te gaan.

A Creative Home
My bench is located inside a beautiful ceramics atelier here in Lisbon. Working here, surrounded by clay, kilns, and endless shelves filled with vibrant, hand-painted vessels, has deeply influenced my creative process. The contrast between the neutral, structured nature of silver and the explosion of color in the ceramics around me is where my inspiration begins. It’s a space filled with life, textures, and the quiet rhythm of handmade things.
My Journey & Inspiration
I am Italian by birth, but Lisbon has been my home for over a decade. I deeply love this city—its relentless sun, its constant, rhythmic wind, and the incredible palette of colors found in the azulejos that decorate the houses.
My roots, however, remain firmly planted in Italy. I travel back as often as I can, keeping a tight, constant bond with Turin and Sardinia. Many people have noticed a subtle echo of traditional Sardinian jewelry in my shapes, and perhaps my subconscious inspiration comes precisely from there. It is a beautiful dialogue: the ancestral shapes of Sardinia, and the vibrant, joyful colors of Lisbon’s tiles—all meeting here, at my workbench.
My Approach
I use thread as an integral part of my designs—whether through delicate knots or intentional wrapping—adding a personal identity to the silver foundation without ever feeling "noisy." Every piece is developed manually, honoring the gesture and the meticulous craft behind each creation. I reject mass production, focusing instead on authorship and pieces designed for permanence.
