My name is Alessi. I am the owner of our small family business.
Our family business started with the history of our family, with our family traditions, and with my grandmother's stories and memories about flax. Unique linen canvases that were handcrafted in the beginning of the previous century have been stored until now in our family as a relic. Linen have always been our faithful companions. Together we have celebrated important family data and spent quiet evenings. Each of our family members use to have and have now their favorite linen ware. For someone it is a favorite jacquard tablecloth, for someone those are favorite striped linen towels. Personally I especially love the linen bedding, and we just do not use other linen for many years.
Why do we love flax so much?
Do you love wildflowers? Think of their heady and fresh scent in the sun. Flax and linen fabrics also have their own smell, flavors of herbs and hay, scenic texture, soft and cool touch. Besides, the linen ware is very practical and easy to look after, although, like any natural material, flax is a bit whimsical.
