The kitchen is where I stopped rushing.

My name is Grace, and VelpoHandmade started at my own kitchen table. Not with a big plan, with a broken utensil I decided to fix instead of replace. Fixing it felt better than buying new ever did. So I made another piece. Then another.

I work with mixed materials, because the kitchen does too. Some things need to be sturdy, some soft, some just need to feel good in your hand. I choose whatever suits the job, and I test every piece in my own kitchen first. [If it survives my Sunday cooking chaos, it's ready for yours, swap in a real detail about your process here if you have one. :D]

Every item in this shop is something I actually use. That's my only rule. If I wouldn't reach for it while the pasta boils over, I won't sell it to you. What you'll find here are simple, honest things made to be handled every day, not saved for special occasions.
