The collage greeting cards and double-sided pendants you see here are my own design. The pendants are made from reclaimed window glass, saving materials from the landfill one square inch at a time! I suggest opening each of the items for sale here because you may like the OTHER side better than the one shown in the thumbnail below; it's like getting two pendants for the price of one!

Vending at fairs can be super fun--I love meeting the people who end up with my work.
I imbue each pendant with a little story. It's really fun to see who gravitates toward which story.
I appreciate how working with glass and molten solder slow me down. It's very meditative.
I always send my work in reused or home-made packaging.
If it's flat, I can encase it for you. This snakeskin head was a favorite commission.

Sharing beautiful ways to save the environment.

The glass for my pendants is window-glass that I find on the side of the road. Because it's tempered, it cannot be recycled like bottles, so I save it from entering the landfills. I also realized I was becoming a digital hoarder--saving up collections of beautiful images with no where for them to go (before Pinterest, ha ha). These two situations combined to motivate me to make pendants--just one way to share beautiful images, while saving the planet. These are still the main drivers behind the items I offer in the Verdance store. Some items satisfy both roles, while others simply express my own aesthetic sensibilities, and some are no-fuss ways to reuse or upcycle items.
