Finally the PERFECT combo purse/diaper bag!! I can't tell you how many bags I have gone through. Nothing compares to Mandy's convertible tote. First off, it's beautiful! The quality of the bag is AMAZING!! It's strong, sturdy, and the craftsmanship is perfect! The pockets are wonderful and all of them are accommodated very nicely. I played around with the bag this morning and I love how you can wear it in 4 ways really. You can convert the strap to be shorter so you can wear it right under your arm. The 2nd way is to lengthen the strap to wear it longer or wear it across your chest messenger style for your 3rd option. The 4th way would be to convert it to a backpack. It's very easy to do. When you do wear it backpack style, just stack up your items in the front half of the inside bag so that the bag lays flat against your back. Even with this, you can still keep all pockets full inside of the bag and still use the zippered outside front compartment. I carry A LOT of things in my bags for an infant and toddler and I was able to fit everything in and still wear it backpack style which is a great option when you need some free hands! Lastly, the bag arrived here in NJ 5 days after Mandy shipped it! Mandy was also wonderful with trying to help me decide on a fabric. She went above and beyond! I have made a lot of great purchases here on Etsy, but I think this is now definitely my #1!! Thanks so much Mandy! I LOVE my new bag!!

I looked everywhere for a bag for my wife's Christmas gift, she has had a tough year and I wanted to get her something extra special. I literally looked at thousands of bags online and in the local shop and couldn't find what I was looking for.

I found Mandy while browsing Etsy and immediately loved her design and I decided to purchase one of her bags. It was a gamble because if the bag wasn't what I expected I wouldn't have enough time for a backup plan. I quickly understood there was nothing to worry about when she immediately answered my messages and agreed to work faster than usual to ensure the parcel would be here in time for Christmas.

I was amazed at the quality of the work and the quality of the material, no photo can do it justice and it's obvious that a bag of this quality from a so-called luxury.

This bag is even more beautiful in person than it looks one here. craftsmanship is top notch the lining is beautiful and all the stitches are well done and seem very sturdy. I have not doubt this bag will last for years to come. If you are on the fence get this bag, you will not regret it.

How I became a handbag designer

I hope that your first impression of our Versabella's leather satchel, messenger bags, backpacks, and hobo purses are well-made, original, innovative, and super stylish. I strive to perfect each of my bag with unique designs and impeccable craftsmanship, using only the finest quality leather and fabrics.

I take pride in designing & producing handmade leather handbags to suit the individual lifestyle of each woman. I want Versabella to reflect an image that is stylish & chic for the wearer and these handmade bags will stand the test of time.

Here's a little about me.... I'm Mandy Ng. I live in the beautiful Town of Markham, Ontario, Canada with my husband and two sons.

I have been sewing and pattern making since graduating from Sheridan College in Fashion Design. I have since been making wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, drapery, cushions, and handbags.

My inspiration for designing and making handbags came when my first child was born in 2001. I could not find a carry-on bag that was both "functional and modern". I could not accept the fact that there was nothing out there for me. Therefore, I designed a mom bag that suited my needs. Ever since then, I was hooked on designing and producing handbags, and that's when Versabella was born.

All of my handbags are a labour of love as I personally design and handcraft each piece. I may say... I'm a perfectionist and I spend many many hours perfecting each bag by paying attention to each detail.
